YESTERDAY WE HAD GUESTS, VOLUNTEERS WHO CAME TO SHELTER TO HELP US. ONE OF THEM IS VET FROM SLOVENIA , AND SHE WORKS IN ONE VET STATION THERE, SHE IS ALSO VOLUNTEER IN ONE DOG SHELTER IN SLOVENIA. WE HAD A LOT OF VALUABLE CONVERSATION AND ADVICE TO SHARE. OTHER TWO ARE ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS AND MUSICIANS, THEY TRAVELED ALL ACROSS EUROPE AND VISITED SHELTERS, AND THEY HELPED WHERE THEY COULD.
UNFORTUNATELY YESTERDAY WAS RAINING A LOT ALL DAY, AND THE MOST TIME WE SPENT IN THE ORDINATION AND CLEANED DOGS EARS AND TEETH..REGARDLESS BAD WEATHER CONDITION, WE HAD NICE , VALUABLE AND USEFUL DAY...
THEY WILL VISIT US AGAIN IN MAY OR JUNE...

NOT FAR AWAY FROM BACKA TOPOLA, IN TOWN SUBOTICA EXIST DOG'S SHELTER NAME "ALEX" WITH 600 DOGS.
ORGANISATION FOR ANIMAL RIGHT "AZIL ALEX" WORKED ACTIVE ON CLOSING DOWN OF PUBLIC "SHELTER" IN SUBOTICA , WHERE HORRIBLE THINGS USED TO HAPPEN WITH DOGS, SAME AS IN BACKA TOPOLA'S FOURIERRE.
ORGANISATION "AZIL ALEX" SUCCEED TO CLOSE DOWN SUBOTICA PUBLIC SHELTER.
BUT NOW AZIL "ALEX" BECAME VICTIM OF SUBOTICA MUNICIPALITY REVENGE.
VETERINARY INSPECTION CLOSED DOWN AZIL "ALEX", BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FULFILL REQUESTS ACCORDING TO LAW ABOUT ANIMAL SHELTERS.(IN SERBIA DOES NOT EXIST ANY SHELTER WHAT FULFILL EU STANDARD).
BUT DOGS IN AZIL ALEX ARE IN GOOD CONDITION, HEALTHY, THEY HAVE ENOUGH OF FOOD, GOOD VETERINARY CARE...AZIL ALEX ACCEPTED EVERY DOG FROM THE STREET WHO WAS IN BAD CONDITION.
ABSURDITY IS THAT VETERINARY INSPECTION GAVE DATE LIMIT TO AZIL ALEX, 90 DAYS TO EMPTY SHELTER!!! TO MOVE 600 DOGS!!!
THAT IS SURREAL AND NOT ACCORDING TO LAW.
WE PLEASE EVERYBODY TO SIGN THIS PETITION.
WE NEED TO STOP THIS MADNESS!!!
TODAY THERE, TOMORROW HERE, AND IT CAN BE HAPPEN IN WHOLE SERBIA!
THIS IS NOT JUST BATTLE OF AZIL ALEX, IT BATTLE OF ALL OF US WHO STAND UP IN THE NAME OF THOSE WHO CAN NOT FIGHT FOR THEMSELVES, IN THE NAME OF ANIMALS!
